DUBAI - SENIOR AUDITOR
This position requires compliance with the firm’s policies and guidance, and adherence to professional standards. These are some of the operational excellence requirements : Communicate and share all client and engagement knowledge with all the engagement team on a timely basis. Ensure that the engagement manager and partner are informed about important audit or accounting issues on a timely basis. Lead and coordinate the fieldwork team in an effective and efficient manner on a day-to-day. Ensure that engagements are executed in accordance with the firm’s methodologies and guidance, and professional standards, on a timely basis, and within budget (or provide reasons why budgets exceeded). Ensure the fieldwork team’s compliance with internal (methodology and risk management)/external (regulatory requirementsand management arrangements. Execute appropriate use of electronic working papers, audit tools and sources of knowledge. Review work of team members (where applicable) on a timely basis and in a thorough and constructive manner. Ensure that sufficient audit evidence is gathered and correctly documented to support the audit opinion. Deliver service in accordance with the principles of the Client Service Letter (or equivalent document). Ensure all client deliverables are prepared on a timely basis to a high technical standard and presentational quality (including draft financial statements, management letters, business review memorandums and other client communications. Skill Required : A candidate with Financial/ Accounting background is highly desirable. The firm would expect a senior to develop his or her skills and knowledge, and demonstrate increasingly mature personal and business skills, to be considered for promotion after two years.
