NOVA DELHI - VP SALES
Job Description : This position develops implements, communicates and monitors sales strategies, and works closely with the rest of the team to carry out our client’s expansion in India. The successful candidate in this role manages the sales department based in New Delhi, India responsible for selling our client’s product line in India. Responsibilities: • Overall responsibilities for all sales activities undertaken in the marketplace. • Establish long-term brand building initiatives that help the business in India. • Manage and develop an effective, highly-motivated sales team including GM sales and Account Managers. • Work closely with sales team to build presence in India and ensure goals are met or exceeded. • Lead the selection and training of additional sales team members. • Work closely with the global team (operations, finance, management etc.) to ensure regional and company strategy is executed. • Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting, including win-loss reports, sales performance, and bottom-up forecasts. • Assume additional duties as requested. Skill Required : Skills Required: • Extensive sales experience of wireless products in the region with proven success track record • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience. • Proven experience in selling and building sales teams in India, preferably in the wireless industry. • Experience managing multi-million dollar sales opportunities and large customers • Experience in selling into cellular operators, enterprises and fixed operators or ISP's. • Strong management skills. • Good organizational skills enabling maintenance of excellent records, preferably with experience from global organizations. • Ability and willingness to travel as needed. • This position requires a hands-on team player who is not afraid to roll up his or her sleeves and get the job done.
