TÓQUIO - PROCESS ENGINEER
Job Description : 1. Will be assigned to the Block - Offshore Vietnam performing th duties of a Process Engineer. The position will be a CLIENT direct hire position. 2. Responsible for defining the requirement process design of equipment, piping systems, materials selection requirement, interfaces with pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, packaged equipment etc for the development and ensuring correct implementation during the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning phases of offshore facilities including WHRPs, FPSOs, CPPs etc. 3. Ensure that all legislative requirement relating to Offshore facilities in Vietnam are compiled with in respect to the above and are correctly implemented 4. From a process engineering background, develop Company Standards, Specifications, Data Sheets and philosophies for equipment and packaged equipment 5. Specify process equipment / packaged equipment of Companies purchase exercises (both long-lead and non long-lead) 6. Ensure that equipment and packaged process equipment are specified, manufactured and delivered as per project requirement 7. Interface with other engineering disciplines on their requirements and ensure the requirements are incorporated within design & integration of the equipment. 8. Establish and monitor technical procedures for inspection and maintenance of process equipment to ensure their effectiveness and safety in process during fabrication, installation and commissioning phase. 9. Monitor the Engineering Contractor’s process equipment design. Skill Required : The jobholder should hold a HNC/HND (Chemical) or Bachelor Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Process Engineering or equivalent and have the following direct working experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Field Development Engineering : More than 15 years in the Oil & Gas Industry particularly the Offshore sector specializing in the process system / packaged equipment design discipline during the conceptual design of offshore facilities, conceptual engineering, front end engineering, detailed design, construction, commissioning and operations of the facilities. Knowledgeable in the design and operation of production facilities including large Processing Platform, Well Head Riser Platforms, MOABS, FPSO / FSOs, pipelines, integration with subsea equipment and other offshore facilities. Intimate familiarity with offshore engineering, fabrication and construction industry. Special Skills / Other Comments. Highly proficient in the use of process engineering software including Hysis & Pipesim and able to generate complete process models for offshore oil & gas process system. Proficient computer skills with modern day PC application packages. Ability to lead and motivate staff. Knowledge of the Vietnamese Law and functioning of a Joint Operating Company / Production Sharing Contractor in Vietnam. Highly delivery focused.
