TAIPÉ - PURCHASING MANAGER
Job Description : Purchasing of Plastics (including resins), Brass, Copper or Electronics Parts (e.g. PCB) Guide the purchase team and ensure to purchase the best products at the required quality and best conditions. Responsible for establishing and managing a well organized purchase department for procurement of electronic components. Manage sourcing strategies, pricing, actual procurement, and escalations. Implement cost reduction programs. Coordinate with various parties in sales for forecasting, demand planning, production scheduling, quality assurance & other supply chain issues. Work with cross-functional team members to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for parts and raw materials on a global basis. Follow up with suppliers and overseas partners on purchase orders. Skill Required : Technical college degree or above in Engineering and/or Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management. Minimum 3 years experience in procurement of Brass / Copper / Electronics/ Plastic Parts. Conversant with commodity specific issues and able to relate to issue with contractual terms and conditions that affect procurement. Experienced on purchasing. Experience of auditing factories based on international quality requirements – ISO, QS, TS, UL, etc. Excellent communication and people skills required with ability to integrate and influence cross functionally and cross culturally for meeting company goals. Strong commercial negotiation skills, able to develop and manage a good supplier base. Ability to manage subordinates and carry out supervisory responsibilities. Hands on, self motivated and good team player. Should have knowledge of ISO9000/TS 16949 requirements. Fluent in English. Benefits : Permanent, competitve package.
