TÓQUIO - PURCHASING MANAGER
Job Description : • Purchasing of Plastics (including resins), Brass, Copper or Electronics Parts (e.g. PCB) • Guide the purchase team and ensure to purchase the best products at the required quality and best conditions. • Responsible for establishing and managing a well organized purchase department for procurement of electronic components. • Manage sourcing strategies, pricing, actual procurement, and escalations • Implement cost reduction programs. • Coordinate with various parties in sales for forecasting, demand planning, production scheduling, quality assurance & other supply chain issues. • Work with cross-functional team members to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for parts and raw materials on a global basis. • Follow up with suppliers and overseas partners on purchase orders. Skill Required : • Technical college degree or above in Engineering and/or Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management • Minimum 3 years experience in procurement of Brass / Copper / Electronics/ Plastic Parts • Conversant with commodity specific issues and able to relate to issue with contractual terms and conditions that affect procurement. • Experienced on purchasing. • Experience of auditing factories based on international quality requirements – ISO, QS, TS, UL, etc. • Excellent communication and people skills required with ability to integrate and influence cross functionally and cross culturally for meeting company goals. • Strong commercial negotiation skills, able to develop and manage a good supplier base. Ability to manage subordinates and carry out supervisory responsibilities. • Hands on, self motivated and good team player. • Should have knowledge of ISO9000/TS 16949 requirements. • Fluent in English.
